The F-35 programme offers never-before-seen opportunities for Australian industry to sustain a capability set that will remain in service until the middle of the century.

So far around $1 billion has been spent for the initial tranche of 72 aircraft which includes the first two aircraft, now part of the international training fleet at Luke Air Force base, Arizona, and set to make their debut at Avalon 2017.

But how will Australia support this future fighter, working to ensure the F-35 is ready for action – anytime, anywhere?
